CDMA Nokia 8208 Announced

For those who live outside of the US and look forward to new CDMA devices, we bring you good tidings of the new Nokia 8208. This elegant dual-slide handset will merge both form and function in a single device, and here’s what Larry Paulson, Nokia Senior Vice President, CDMA Devices, have to say about it, ““We instinctively wanted to carry out a very modern look and feel in the design of our new devices, and to bring consumers a wide range of features. Consumers want devices that are beautiful to look at and reflect their individuality, but also have the functionality that keeps them connected to their world easily. This device echoes our goal to broaden the Nokia portfolio of high tech, yet stylish devices in select global CDMA markets.” Features of the CDMA Nokia 8208 include :-

  • Dual band CDMA/EV-DO connectivity (800/1900 MHz)
  • 2.2″ display at 240 x 320 resolution
  • Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity
  • Integrated FM radio
  • GPS navigation support
  • External dedicated music keys
  • 150MB internal memory
  • microSD memory card slot
  • 3 megapixel camera with flash

Nice to see Nokia include a 3.5mm headset jack that will go down well with music fans. No idea on how much this will cost when it is out though.
