DHL aims to improve on its service by testing out a bunch of GPS-trackable cargo containers that allow customers to check on their precious package no matter where they are in the world. Package tracking is old hat by now, but with the help of GPS technology, it is even more accurate right down to the current longitude and latitude. Apart from location data, you also benefit from sensor packages from Savi Networks that will help monitor temperature, humidity, shock & vibration, and exposure to light. Talk about going the extra mile! Would this feature make you pick DHL over other courier services?
