DIS.PLAY Tabletop Display

Microsoft’s Surface technology has a new contender in town – the DIS.PLAY (so named for obvious reasons) that actually brings together the functionality of a touch panel with the mysterious scenario of dim lighting. Not only that, it features memory foam that makes the entire experience all the more surreal. We can just imagine generals of ancient time appreciating such technology as they plot at which hill should their calvary charge down upon the archers, and will the pikemen flank the opposing army after that? The DIS.PLAY is able to enable objects to be put into motion accompanied by sound, and whenever a designated “shape” is mashed or deformed, a corresponding audio will bend alongside it.
