The DS Lite is one portable console that not only has a great game library, it has also a long battery life unlike the PSP (although the latter has improved since it was released). Still, that might not be enough to keep hardcore gamers going on a drawn out RPG quest, hence the need for this little DIY modification from Instructables. All you need is some basic soldering and wire-connecting knowledge and you’ll be able to attach solar panels to the DS to keep it going long after the rest have “died”. Interestingly enough, the DS Lite’s form factor makes it easy to include these solar panels without making it look ugly in any way.
