Word on the street has it that Explay will be rolling out its Colibri mobile projection module at Mobile World Congress 2009 which features SPELL ((SPEckle-free LCoS Laser) projection technology. It will take up no more than 5 cubic centimeters in volume, boasting an impressive set of deliverables in terms of size, resolution and power consumption. This will definitely be a positive step towards more efficient and effective projectors built into cell phones, although the road ahead is still a long one before they become commonplace.
