Here’s a dual-screen laptop that is much tougher than it looks – the gScreen TITAN M-1. It will be out this February 25th, although there is no word on pricing yet for this 15″ ruggedized dual-screen laptop. How did such a device come about anyways, you ask? Well, the US Navy wanted one for extreme environments, making this a suitable candidate like a fish in water. Inside the tough exterior you will find the following specifications :-
- Intel Core 2 Quad QX9300 processor
- 4GB RAM
- 500GB hard drive
- NVIDIA Quadro FX 2700M graphics card
- Two 15.4″ LED backlit displays
- Six USB 2.0 ports, VGA, Display Port, RJ-45, Audio, Firewire
There is no word on pricing, but we’re not looking at ‘cheap’ and ‘affordable’ here.
