HP Mini 1000 Loves Not Linux

If you’re looking to run Linux on your HP Mini 1000 and reside in the UK, we’re sorry to tell you that you’re out of luck. HP won’t be releasing such a bundle in that part of the world, as folks living there will just have to learn to live with Windows XP instead after handing over 450 quid. When a HP spokesperson was contacted for the reason behind this move, it seems that a study have shown that it is more viable to settle for a Windows XP only SKU instead of offering both. Well, guess this is where import shops come in, so expect to fork out a small fortune and watch out for scalpers.
