HTC will roll out its maiden Qualcomm Snapdragon-powered smartphone sometime in the second quarter of the year, making them possibly the second cell phone manufacturer to do so after Toshiba and their TG01. What do you think this Snapdragon-powered phone will run on when it arrives – Windows Mobile or Google Android? Speculation is left wide open, and HTC certainly won’t be the last to the Snapdragon party as other invitees on the list include Samsung, LG, Acer, Asus, Quanta Computer, Compal, Wistron, Inventec and Foxconn. Hey, where’s Motorola and Nokia? Ah well, the more the merrier, and competition in this sense is always better for the end user.
