i-gotU GT-120 GPS Logger

While geotagging capability in digital cameras have become more pronounced these days, there are still millions and millions of people around the world who are still using digital cameras that were released a generation back which lack this capability. Fear not, there is always a solution in this day and age, and here we have the i-gotU GT-120 GPS logger that allows you to keep a record of where you’ve been – perfect for folks who want to be even more detailed in their post-holiday descriptions. Just make sure that your camera is set to the right time and you’re good to go. When plugged into a computer via USB, the GT-120 will feature software that displays your entire trip in 3D or on on Google Maps/Earth, Flickr or other social networking sites that you’re using. Since folks who use this tend to do a whole lot of traveling, it is nice to see this come as a waterproof unit, ensuring the vaunted SiRF Star III chipset inside remains protected. The internal battery will last up to 30 hours as it logs your position every quarter of a minute. Mac users will have to look for another solution though.
