KFE Phone Charger

KFE of Japan has released a new phone charger that relies on zinc-air batteries that are superior to alkaline or lithium versions in every way. It works in pretty much the same manner hearing aid batteries do, where opening a lid will expose the batteries within the charger to the air to keep the juice flowing. Each of these batteries are able to last for approximately 20 charges before it is depleted, where you’ll need to send it back to KFE for a recharge. Definitely not as convenient as your regular plug-and-play phone charger, and you’ll also need to keep track of just how many charges the darn thing has left. Ah well, if you’re interested, you can still fork out around $31 for this when it launches later next month.
