Adults aren’t the only ones who have netbooks to play with, as Kohjinsha and Bandai of Japan have come together to produce a special limited edition Gachapin and Mukku netbook that targets (who else but) Japanese kids. Gachapin is an extremely popular in the Land of the Rising Sun, and the netbook itself comes in a bright lime green color that is based off of the Kohjinsha ML series, featuring specifications that ain’t too shabby :-
- 8.9” 1,024 x 600 resolution display
- Intel Atom N270 processor
- 1GB RAM
- 160GB hard drive
- 1.3 megapixel webcam
- 1-Seg Digital TV tuner
It will retail for a pretty hefty $868 considering the specifications, making it $217 more expensive than its Kohjinsha ML netbook. Not too smart a financial move these days.
