MCE Technologies has finally made available its OptiBay hard drive for owners of the new unibody MacBook and MacBook Pro systems, with prices starting from $190 upwards depending on capacity. After all, there are some people in this world who think that they no longer have any need for optical drives, hence replacing that empty space with another hard drive would be a good idea in putting it to good use. This second hard drive is installed internally and offers users the option for RAID performance or reliability if required. Several storage capacities and performance targets are being offered by MCE Technologies, and they are the 250GB/5400RPM, 320GB/5400RPM, 320GB/7200RPM and 500GB/5400RPM.
