Microsoft Windows 7 Beta Update

Hmm, Windows 7 isn’t even out on an official basis yet and Microsoft has already released a beta update for it, while preparing a Service Pack 2 for Vista as well. The former’s update can be downlaoded manually through Windows Update on February 24th, and according to Windows 7 manager Brandon LeBlanc, these five test updates will “allow us to test and verify our ability to deliver and manage the updating of Windows 7.” That means you won’t get new features of fixes, but they’ll just overwrite current system files with a similar version.
