
MIMO has just rolled out a couple of 7″ auxiliary monitors – the UM-710 and the touchscreen-capable UM-740 which works with both PC and Mac platforms as long as there is a free USB 2.0 port. Both displays feature the following :-
- 800 x 480 resolution
- Rotatable to portrait
- 350cd/m2 brightness rating
- 400:1 contrast ratio
The UM-740 has an edge with its touchscreen capability and an integrated webcam, microphone and audio pass-through connections, making it the perfect alibi if you’re a huge fan of Internet video chats. The UM-710 and UM-740 will retail for $130 and $200, respectively.
