Neo Handset Designs At MWC 2009

Neo is a rather obscure handset manufacturer, but they are present at the ongoing Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, showing off a bunch of their handset designs. What you see here is the Neo 808i, touted to be the “world’s smallest fully-featured mobile phone”. When they say “fully-featured”, they mean business with tri-band GSM/GPRS connectivity, a 1.2 megapixel camera, an integrated FM radio, audio and video playback and a microSD memory card slot among others – all crammed into a diminutive 41mm x 72mm x 14mm package that weighs a mere 90 grams. What, no 3G in this day and age? Still, we can’t ask for more considering the small size. Other designs on show are the Neo Eclipse and 909 Android phone. We wonder when will these be unleashed upon the world.
