Check out this custom-built Eee PC 701 touchscreen slate prototype that has its roots in the Origami R2H device. It looks really, really sweet, and just like the Origami device, you will get decent looking buttons while the Eee PC 701 loses its keyboard as well as some weight, now tipping the scales at 760 grams compared to its initial weight of 922 grams. Features include a pen for easy use with the touchscreen display as well as a specially carved out slot for you to slot the pen in when it is not in use. How many of you out there would want to see this prototype being transformed into a full production model? We definitely vote a resounding aye!
