Panasonic’s Toughbook 52 notebook has gotten a brand new option if you want to bring one home – a 13.3″ touchscreen LCD display. This display will not only work indoors, but it will function just fine outdoors as well, thanks to its 1,000 nit brightless level combined with an anti-glare and anti-reflective surface. According to Panasonic, the battery life will last up to 8 hours with the touchscreen, whereas the standard issue 15.4″ variant has an hour less. The sunlight-viewable option will also come with an integrated stylus holder and an adjustable overhead keyboard light, letting you choose from four brightness levels for low-light conditions. Nice to know a red LED light has been included to preserve the eye’s natural light sensitivity at night. Prices start from $1,700, although the touchscreen option will see it hit $2,550.
