Residents Around Wind Turbine Falling Sick

Residents who reside near wind turbines In Japan have started to experience more and more headaches, dizziness, insomnia and other ailments, and this has led to the general populace being fearful of such green technology as well as the health hazards it poses. Take forty year-old Tsuyoshi Okawa’s family for example – they began to lose feeling in parts of their bodies, experienced bouts of dizziness, and had difficulty sleeping properly in their home which was (in)conveniently located within 350 meters from the Gumihara wind farm. When away, all those symptoms disappeared rather miraculously, flaring up when they returned. It seems as though the low frequency sounds produced by the turbines were the primary cause according to the Japan Environment Ministry. Well, hopefully something can be done so that these wind turbines are able to function as they should without harming the health of anyone.
