Samsung has a quartet of new digital cameras for the masses today, and all of them hail from the SL series. The high end SL820 boasts 12 megapixels of shooting goodness, a 5x optical zoom lens, a 3″ LCD display and boasts 720p H.264 MPEG-4 video recording. As for the 12 megapixel SL620, it features a similar sized LCD display and 5x optical zoom lens, although video recording is limited to just 30fps VGA quality. Coming down the food chain by a notch, the entry level SL202 and SL30 digital cameras share pretty much the same features with a 10 megapixel sensor, 3x zoom lens and at least a 2.5″ LCd display. The SL820, SL620, SL202 and SL30 will retail for $249.99, $199.99, $149.99 and $99.99, respectively, when they ship this March.
