
Samsung is looking at selling new cell phones that are powered by the open-source Linux software platform sometime this year, and this is separate from offering at least three more handsets that run on Google’s Android operating system. Unfortunately for the rest of the world, there is no word on a specific date where these phones will be released in the US or Europe, but a high level Samsung executive sends the message that they will arrive on both markets before the year is over.
