Samsung doesn’t only make cell phones, but they do delve into other portable consumer electronics like voice recorders as well. Granted, this market segment isn’t exactly the most exciting one to cover, but news is still news and the Samsung YP-VP1 voice recorder looks pretty sleek compared to what we’ve seen to date, featuring MP3 playback capability, a 30 hour recording capacity and 50 hours of playback time on a full charge. The controls seem to indicate that they rely on touch-sensitivity, which isn’t exactly the most practical for such a tiny voice recorder. No idea on pricing nor availability as at press time.
