Slam Dunk Rating System

You know those basketball collectible cards that come out each year? Well, do expect to see a new type of statistic thrown into a future edition if this slam dunk rating system actually comes good, thanks to a bunch of students at the Clemson University. This system was created to measure the intensity of the dunks as well as show such information to fans almost immediately. We’re not sure how this will go down with the players themselves, as there might actually be an unofficial tussle for “most powerful dunk in the game”, leading some players who have huge egos to forget about teamplay and aim for the big dunk instead. Doubtful that will happen with the kind of psychology conditioning they get, but who knows?
