Sony Ericsson fans who laughed at Nokia owners and their Curse of Silence exploit might have bitten off more than they can chew this time round as news of a new WAP Push message vulnerability is bandied about. This specially concocted WAP Push message that is sent via SMS will restart your Sony Ericsson handset when you open it, and a malicious person can send you a whole bunch so that each time your phone restarts, it will receive the next message and repeat the entire frustrating process. Let’s hope the boffins at Sony Ericsson will craft out a solution pretty soon as this is not something that’s beneficial to anyone apart from folks looking for cheap thrills. Handsets these days too take quite some time to reboot, and it can get extremely annoying after the 3rd time round.
