Sugar OS To Run On Any Computer

The OLPC team’s innovative Sugar OS could possibly see action across any computer in the future and not just for use on the OLPC XO laptop only. For starters, the team has already rolled out its Sugar on a Stick some time ago, letting you download and install the Sugar OS onto a USB flash drive as long as there is at least 1GB of storage space, allowing you to turn virtually any x86-based computer to start up in the Sugar environment. Currently, Sugar on a Stick comes in Fedora 10 and Ubuntu 8.10 flavors, and was created to be used as an educational tool for kids as its primary purpose.
