Ain’t it fun to be a kid again, where you have nothing but long summer holidays and plenty of toys to play with? This year’s American Toy Fair in New York saw the Swinxs gaming hub that consists of a small green plastic box. It is capable of supporting up to 10 players simultaneously despite featuring a single-player mode for lone rangers. Kids will wear elastic bands around their wrists which contain RFID chips that in turn, respond to the base. There will be 10 pre-loaded games including tag, musical chairs and hide-and-seek. Good thing this is a one-off purchase with future upgrades (of games, music and quizzes) available via downloads at the official product side. There is no word on pricing or availability as the company is still looking out for a US distributor.
