Folks who have been holding out all this while for the BlackBerry Curve 8900 will be able to get theirs from T-Mobile USA, and it will retail for $199.99 as long as you pen down your John Hancock on a 2-year deal, and this is after sending in a $100 mail-in rebate. The 8900, also known as the Javelin, will feature the following just in case you have forgotten :-
- Full QWERTY keyboard
- 2.44″ HVGA+ display
- Quad-band GSM connectivity
- Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support
- 512MHz processor
- 3.2 megapixel camera
Sorry folks, but you won’t find any 3G connectivity here, although you can take advantage of T-Mobile’s Unlimited Hotspot Calling service when needed. In addition, you can also use the myFaves service to obtain unlimited nationwide calling to 5 of your friends, family, colleagues and contacts.
