Taiwan Gets SSD Upgrades For Eee PC 901

Folks living in Taiwan and are thinking of picking up the Eee PC 901 will be able to do so by forking out around $43 to Asus. This program allows you to bring your Eee PC 901 to an authorized Asus service center where they will then give your SSD a boost to the next level, as in doubling the amount. No idea if they will let you skip a level or not, say from 12GB to 32GB straight. This good news only applies to those who are running on a 4GB, 12GB and 16GB Eee PC 901, while those with hard drive based models can rest easy knowing that they still have many more GBs to fill up before there is a need for an external hard drive.
