You might think that your camera manufacturer came up with all that, but chances are that they didn’t. Tessera is a company that creates image processing algorithms that are then licensed to many digital camera brands (that’s why they can all deploy such features very rapidly). Tessera is a business-to-business (B2B) company, that’s why you’ll probably never hear from them elsewhere. We thought that we should shed some light on these unsung consumer electronics heros.
