Vaio P Tweaked And Accepts HSDPA SIM Cards

Sony is notorious for being extremely tight fisted when it comes to proprietary formats (think ATRAC and Memory Sticks), and this attitude has somewhat spilled over to the recently released Vaio P netbook that does not accept other HSDPA SIM cards. Bear in mind this mod is not meant for beginners though as it will involve some hair raising moments including soldering one’s own SIM card slot. Head on here if you’re game for a mod like this.
