
If you’ve been holding out for a price drop for the Vudu set top box, your moment has arrived. Vudu has just announced a price cut for its little black box that now retails for $149, down from the previous figure of $299. As for the roomier Vudu XL, it will retail at $499 from its previous high of $999, as the latter will come with a home theater connectivity software package as well. In addition, the rack-mountable Vudu XL2 hits a rock bottom $799 from the $1,299 one would have paid for last month. Christmas comes early for interested buyers, eh?
