The Wii’s Classic Controller has just been given a steroid boost – this time round it will be known with a Pro suffix. This enhanced pad will be out sometime this summer just in time for the slew of games that will be released then, and is a standard Classic Controller with the addition of shoulder buttons, hand grips and more space between the analog sticks for those who find the current Classic Controller a bit too cramped. Nintendo has remained mum concerning its price and availability, but chances are it will come with a slight premium over the $20 Classic Controller. Remember, purchasing a Pro device won’t make you a better gamer unless the controller has great raw materials (superb reflexes, fast thinking) to work with.
