A-DATA SATAII SSD 300 Plus

A-DATA Technology has just announced their new 2.5” SATAII SSD 300 Plus that claims to offer a significant boost in performance. Relying on the latest advancements in SSD technology as well as a new controller design, the 300 Plus SSD is touted to offer improved data-reading and writing speeds of up to 40% and 60% at the minimum when placed side-by-side with a standard SSD. One of the main reasons for this is the utilization of a special mobile SDRAM that can hit a sustained read rate of 250MB/sec and write rate of 160MB/sec. Since the mobile SDRAM acts as a cache buffer where frequently used data are stored, the system won’t have to work so hard to fetch data from the main storage area each time it needs to be accessed. This new SATAII SSD 300 Plus will come in 32GB, 64GB, 128GB and 256GB capacities.
