Acer’s upcoming Hornet aims to deliver a potent sting by incorporating Nvidia’s Ion platform, and it will be available in a form factor that is small enough to be mounted on displays. Interestingly enough, Acer will be selling it alongside a Wiimote-like device which will be used for gaming purposes as well as a remote control as and when the situation arises. The Acer Hornet is touted to launch at the beginning of April onwards with an initial run of three to four models, ranging from $199 to $399 a pop. Do you think these will catch on like wildfire when they’re available?
