Alpha Network from Taiwan has rolled out its latest network media player, the BT (BitTorrent) Box that will be paraded at CeBIT from tomorrow onwards. The BT Box will feature an integrated hard drive while functioning as a plug-and-play network device that allows one to download files straight off the BitTorrent network without the need for a PC to be the middleman. Stored content can then be shared across the TV for all and sundry to view, and the ability to decode all popular video and audio media formats. Heck, you can even view high definition video via the BT Box, albeit up to 1080i only. Hopefully the price won’t be too hard hitting on our wallets.
