Apricorn has just introduced the latest addition to its Aegis Mini line of portable storage devices – the 240GB model. While it sounds pretty ordinary, bear in mind it comes in only a 1.8″ drive size, tipping the scales at a mere 3.7 ounces. You can choose to hook it up to your computer via USB 2.0 or FireWire, and despite its small size, the 240GB Aegis Mini comes with shock-resistant mounting and an integrated FireWire or USB 2.0 cable. It plays nice with both Mac OS X and Windows platforms, where the USB 2.0 model will go for $270 while the FireWire variant costs an additional $10. For this month only, you can also take advantage of the $25 mail-in rebate if you’re a penny pincher.
