Asus P835 Smartphone Goes Official

Asus won’t just be banking on its own alliance with Garmin where smartphones are concerned, and has just announced the P835 PDA smartphone that boasts a host of features which are pretty standard with any handset worth its salt these days. Thanks to the specifications listed right after the jump, you are able to take advantage of the P835’s online capability by handling a wide variety of online tasks ranging from checking out social networking sites to blog updates without missing a beat. In addition, users are able choose between 12-key, half QWERTY and full QWERTY virtual keyboard modes. In addition, you are able to turn your Asus P835 into a Wi-Fi Access Point, sharing your connection with up to 10 other devices – just make sure you’ve got an unlimited data plan going on the safe side. Asus will use its own Glide mobile user interface on top of Windows Mobile for a supposedly more seamless experience. There is no word on pricing as at press time.
