Atree has a brand new portable multimedia player (PMP) known as the J2 for the masses – released in Korea, it comes with a 2.4″ display as well as a blinking LED ‘Red Eye’.We’re not too sure what that is for, but heck, at least the J2 comes with audio and video playback, an integrated FM radio, voice recording capability, a microSD memory card slot (maximum of 8GB), and a battery that goes for 38 hours with music or 8 hours for video playback. It will come in 4GB and 8GB capacities, and looks pretty much like a rudimentary PMP. Get an iPod touch or iPod classic instead if you want a more total PMP experience.
