
Looks like this June will be when a new iPhone will be unveiled according to one or more of AT&T’s more senior officials who let certain juicy details slip. Guess Apple hopes to stem the tide of the Palm Pre with its latest iPhone release, where the emphasis will be on speed. Certain remarks point toward a much faster model as well as support for AT&T’s planned upgrade to 7.2Mbps 3G scheduled for this year. No idea on whether the June release will be an AT&T exclusive or not, but you can be sure things will heat up this summer, and we don’t mean just the weather.
