Somebody had better call the plumber to pay RIM a visit – there are far too many firmware updates being leaked out these days, and the BlackBerry Curve 8900 is next with its OS 4.6.1.174 firmware. For the uninitiated, a leaked firmware might work but there is also the risk of it bricking your precious Curve 8900 as it has not been officially tested and released to the masses just yet. Therefore, do take the necessary precautions before jumping in, and we’d strongly recommend a backup of all your data beforehand.
