Beginning today, Comcast is deploying new speed tiers in the San Francisco bay area. Here are the available options for demanding users (requires a new modem):

  • Extreme 50: 50Mbps down / 10Mbps up for $140/mo
  • Ultra: 22Mbps down/5Mbps up for $62.95/mo

Current users can also benefit from free upgrades:

  • Performance: performance doubles to 12 Mbps down / 2Mbps up
  • Performance +: upstream speed doubles to 16Mbps down / 2Mbps up

Do you live in the right place to get these new speeds? check it here (warning, there’s a video ad in the page, it’s cool, but it’s still an ad).
