
It will be interesting to see when will flexible OLED and e-paper technology actually become mainstream enough to be affordable so that concepts such as this electronic diary can be realized. The fact that designer Alexandre Foum has included a Hermès stamp to the surface of the concept underlines its allegiance to merging both form and function into a single device. We hope that battery life won’t be an issue with this should it be released in the near future. Chances are the display which reveals itself when pulled open will boast touchscreen functionality, as a stylus might just be too sharp and poke a hole by accident.
