gCubik Gets Six-Sided Displays

One particular Japanese research institute has made it known that the cube-shaped 3D display that goes by the moniker gCubik, is now available with displays on all six sides instead of just three in its predecessor. The resolution of these displays are nothing much to shout about, but it does aim to push the initial concept of “observing an 3D image from all sides, holding it in hand”. The gCubik will enable a 3D image to look as though it was inside the cube, and when the cube is turned, it allows you to view the image from different sides. We think that this would be appropriate for learning in class, but when it comes to the more sensitive anatomical segments of the syllabus, the more juvenile ones will find this to be a hoot.
