HP’s Enviro Series of laptop batteries are based on the latest Boston Power’s Sonata technology, and these have been made available for current 18 Hewlett-Packard laptop models. Sonata claims that their Li-ion cells are able to deliver sustainable performance for up to three years without suffering from any degradation, and that makes it last “three times longer than most other notebook computer batteries”. HP backs that statement by throwing in a three-year warranty as well. These batteriesare Ecolabel-certified, so you don’t need to worry about polluting the environment more than what other standard batteries do. Prices start from $149.99 onwards.
