Impulse TNX-9500 Is Super Cheap

The worlds’s cheapest netbook – at least, that’s what the manufacturers of the Impulse TNX-9500 claim it to be. This netbook retails for $199 which isn’t exactly the cheapest considering the Dell Mini 9 has already dropped to that level. In addition, the Impulse TNX-9500 does have its fair share of flaws including a rather cranky Internet Explorer and an always-on microphone that causes irritating feedback. It is powered by a 1GHz processor and relies on Windows XP as the operating system of choice. Hopefully when the Impulse TNX-9500 enters full production, all those flaws will be ironed out and it will be cheaper than the price stated to make it worth a purchase. Image courtesy of Engadget.
