Marvel Inks Deal With Gazillion

Marvel Comics has recently inked a deal with Gazillion, a private startup in a 10-year exclusive video game deal. The first title from this partnership will be based on Super Hero Squad.This deal will focus mainly on massively multiplayer online (MMO) games, and Super Hero Squad will target younger gamers based on Marvel’s very own franchise. In addition, Gazillion will also be knee deep in developing and publishing the long-awaited Marvel Universe MMO that will make an appearance on both game consoles and PCs. It would be interesting to see how the 10-year deal holds out, and if Gazillion makes a, well, gazillion bucks out of this partnership, we’re pretty sure other mainstream publishers like EA will be kicking themselves in the pants.
