Could Microsoft finally come up with something to go up against Apple’s successful App Store? Perhaps so, as certain folks who seem to have way too much time on their hands managed to uncover a link that points to client.marketplace.windowsmobile.com. Checking out that site will result in viewing a web page that has been specially formatted for mobile devices, including cell phones and PDAs. This page lends the promise of searching for and downloading both free and premium applications sometime in the future. Do you think a mobile-formatted version will be the only one around, or will Microsoft come up with something for the desktop as well?
