Kids these days tend to interact differently from their counterparts in the past – they rely on more passive entertainment than before, no thanks to a deluge of zombie TV shows and computer games. Well, why not use this to your advantage in the classroom if you’re an educationist? Mimio’s interactive solutions allow regular surfaces like blackboards, dry-erase boards and even walls to function as interactive surfaces. You’ll need a PC and a projector beforehand though, where the latter will beam an interface onto the selected surface of choice, where the attached Interactive Bar will then work in tandem with the Interactive Stylus as a mouse, letting one manipulate items on the display – be it writing, drawing or even drag-and-drop. It will cost approximately $549 for the whole works, which sounds pretty reasonable to me.
