Mintpass of Korea is the tour de force behind the Mintpad – a WinCE 5.0 Pro-based multimedia network device that is currently undergoing some Anglicization for use outside of the South Korean market. In fact, this portable device is tipped to be released in the US with a 64-page English manual ready to be included into each Mintpad box sold. There is no word on pricing, but it is currently going for $143 thereabouts after conversion in its native country, so don’t expect this to cost a bomb when it finally arrives (speculated to be later next month or early May). Features of this device include Wi-Fi connectivity, audio and video playback, a host of productivity programs, 4GB of internal memory and a 400MHz processor.
