Mio Explora K70

While Mio and Garmin are primarily GPS manufacturers, it seems as though Garmin’s tardiness in getting their nuviphone out soon enough will come back and bite them if Mio keeps up the good work it has started with the K70. Powered by Windows Mobile Professional 6.1, this HSDPA-enabled handset will have Qualcomm’s MSM7201A 528MHz processor at the heart of its operation alongside the following specifications :-

  • 3.5″ TFT touchscreen display at 240 x 400 resolution
  • Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, USB 2.0 connectivity
  • 3 megapixel camera with autofocus and geotagging
  • 256MB ROM
  • 128MB RAM
  • microSDHC memory card slot
  • Built-in accelerometer

There is no word on pricing, but chances are it will be out real soon – faster than the Nuviphone if one were to place a bet.
