Mitsubishi has a couple of new projectors in store for the masses – the WD3300U and XD3200U. Both of them will cater for large display needs such as lecture halls, boardrooms, large classrooms, church sanctuaries and a myriad of other presentation rooms. The design might be the same as well, but peel underneath the hood and you will find the WD3300U equipped with 4,000 ANSI lumens, a 2,300:1 contrast ratio, and a wide screen WXGA (1,280 x 800) resolution with a 16:10 aspect ratio. As for the XD3200U, this model is brighter at 4,500 ANSI lumens, a 2,500:1 contrast ratio and a smaller XGA (1,024 x 768) resolution. DLP display technology are found in both models, allowing you to view images up to 300″ in size, diagonally. The 4,000 hour lamp life ought to be taken into consideration before you make your purchase.
